ANNFSU, which is close to the CPN (Maoist), has staged satirical cartoons in the streets against the move of Prime Minister KP Oli to dissolve the parliament. The demonstration was held at Dawli in Kamaladi, Kathmandu under the second phase of the agitating UNRWA program.
Surendra Basnet, leader of ANNISU, said that the demonstration was a collection of cartoons published on different dates in various media, mocking the unconstitutional move of the Prime Minister.In the cartoon demonstration, slogans like ‘regression is heavy, our movement is continuing’, ‘who is up for constitution, who is up for KP’.
Ranjit Tamang, co-coordinator of ANNISU, said that the third phase of the program will be made public soon.
