Saptari – A man infected with the corona virus has died in Chitwan while undergoing treatment. A 60-year-old man of Rapti Municipality-5 died while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, said hospital director Dr Dayaram Lamsal.

He was brought to the hospital on December 5 with respiratory problems and was confirmed to be corona positive on the same day. According to the District Health Office, Chitwan, the number of deaths due to corona virus infection in Chitwan has reached 103. Of the 62 deaths, only within the Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

In Chitwan, 6,543 people have been confirmed to have corona infection so far and only 24 are undergoing treatment at the hospital. 219 people are in home isolation.
