– The NEFTA Awards, which are affected due to the Covid-19 infection risk, will be held this year. Last year, the 10th edition of the award was postponed due to the corona virus. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in the last week of March organized by the Nepal Film Technical Association.

Coordinator Sushma Poudel said that the best five nominations for the awards in various categories will be made public on January 25. He said that the program has been decided as people’s life is becoming normal and business houses, transport and cinema houses are also opening.
NEFTA has stated that the program will be conducted by maintaining safety standards and social distance keeping in view the Covid-19.

It was scheduled to be held in Tundikhel on April 7 last year. But the risk of corona virus increased ahead of schedule and the event was postponed.
