Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the House of Representatives should be reconstituted. He made the remarks at an interaction program on unconstitutional steps of the government and political crisis organized by the Janata Samajwadi Party in Kathmandu.

Speaking on the occasion, Poudel termed the dissolution of the House of Representatives by the government as unconstitutional and undemocratic but asked why it was reluctant to go for restoration.”We are ready to go to court and debate on the article of the constitution. Stating that the Prime Minister does not have the privilege of dissolving the parliament, Poudel said that there is no place for dissolution in the constitution. We respect the court.

‘Stating that the dissolution of the House of Representatives was the sole decision of the Prime Minister and not of the government, Poudel said that the court should rectify such unconstitutional steps.
